    Hello;

    We love your plugin and will most likely upgrade to the professional version once we get everything up and running smoothly. But we already have a list of subscribers (300+) and were wondering if there is an easy feature in the program to email those members a discount code with instructions to register on the new site?

    Thanks,
    Tamer

  • This plugin is open source. That means there is no professional version. Whatever you’re running is the full version, no restrictions. The way to support the developer is to purchase support at his site at http://www.paidmembershipspro.com

    To answer your question: There is no bulk email feature in PMPro. However, since it sounds like your members are already registered users on your site, then there are plenty of other WP plugins that can do this for you.

    They are currently not members of my new WP Site. I guess I will have to look for anything that does a mass registration request of sorts. I plan on using the plugin in two sites and I do plan on supporting the development as soon as the sites go public as they have not generated any revenue yet to warrant the expenditure. Thankfully, the plugin is Open Source and available for free. I just didn’t know whether there was such a feature.

    Thanks,

    If you get the support plan, Jason can help you through the steps of getting these people registered and the best way to go about it. There’s an add-on for PMPro to send email addresses to MailChimp on new registrations, just as an example. Maybe that’s all you need? Not sure if it works with user imports into PMPro though. Because of that complexity, this is a classic case where the support can be invaluable. I hear you about being pre-revenue but it could be a real timesaver and accelerate your deployment schedule. We don’t get any kickbacks or anything for people signing up, this is just our experience.

    Cool. no, I agree. I have actually developed a few plugins and see the value in it. I just figured I would ask here first before purchasing the support. But I will do so right away.

    Thanks,
    Tamer
