I agree. I need help. Have been trying to make it work for the past 2 days for the Twentyfifteen theme. which is pretty simple but I can not find anywhere the author tags on any php. and adding the functions and template_tags code provided in the instructions doesn’t work. 🙁
It should be an option in the main wordpress system, not a plugin

Florencia I had to go to fiverr.com and find someone willing to fix it for me. They got it working. Every theme is different, so it’s hard to give help with this plugin.

Take a look at this plugin, it has guest posting option. It might work for you:

The only problem is is that the free version puts author bio boxes on all posts and pages and you have to get the paid version to removed bio boxes from pages.
Thanks for your reply. The molongui pluin is just for one author. I need to be able to have 2 or 3 authors per article.

I personally haven’t been working on Co-Authors Plus for a few years. I don’t know what Automattic’s long-term plans are.
