Can someone please help me?

I’ve been having the worst time with my WordPress blog lately and I really need some help. The trouble began a few days ago when I noticed the text editor wasn’t recognizing characters like tabs and returns. It was irritating, but I tried to work around it and make the best of it. Then, the text editor stopped recognizing any different in the ‘visual’ and code tabs – it completely stopped showing code. Then, later the same day, it completely refused to save any work I’d done. I would type something, save it, and the website wouldn’t show any of the changes. This is crazy! I wrote something on here the other day – some suggestions were helpful but I remained in the dark for the most part (people who say to use a different text editor – I don’t know how to do that … would I upload the text via FTP to a particular folder? Clearly I’m new at this). Please help – I’ve posted about this before – I even reported this bug – but I’ve gotten no response, which is irritating. Thanks.
