Can Shipping Zone Customer Notification Be Disabled?
-
Hi. I use a complicated shipping system for my website and use several third party plugins to execute it. The plugins have their own shipping zone settings, but in WooCommerce settings I cannot delete the default “Locations not covered by your other zones” default Shipping Zone. The problem with that is when a customer goes to checkout and puts in a shipping address they always get the notification “Customer matched zone: ‘Locations not covered by your other zones'”.
I have tried to figure out how to use “display none” in CSS to disable the WooCommerce notification but I can only find how to disable all notifications. I have tried changing the “Shipping location(s)” in WooCommerce General Settings to “Disable shipping and shipping calculations” but that messes up the functions of the shipping plugins.
I would appreciate any suggestions on how to get rid of the “Customer matched zone: ‘Locations not covered by your other zones'” notification that a customer sees at checkout. In order to reproduce the issue all you need to do is add something to the cart, go to checkout, add billing/shipping address and click “Place Order.” No need to add any payment information, you will get a warning that credit card information cannot be empty but you will also see the shipping notification I am referring to.
