Can number of shares transfer over new theme

    Hi developer,
    I am rebranding my services and right now I am working on changing my existing website to the new theme. My question is How am i be able to transfer the social media share on my existing (old) website to the new one. Kindly let me know, this is the only thing I am stuck with.

    Hi @samiya
    The number of shares is related to the page URL (even changing the URL of a post you would lose the number of shares of that single post).
    PS: this does not depend on the plugin used, social networks base the number of shares on the URL of each page.
