• I recently upgraded to the latest WordPress version and now I can not upload any pictures on to my website. I am very familiar with how to do this on the older version.

I select insert media. I select files. I select the picture and open file. Then a bar beings to move below the select files button and nothing happens. I press insert into page and nothing happens. What is going on? Help

Also, how do I quickly delete 20,588 items from my comment section?

  • Have you tried deactivating all your plugins and manually clearing your browser cache?

After doing both of those… go back to the media uploader and see if you are able to successfully upload an image.

I will try this later Josh. Thank you for the suggestion. Right now my connection to my server is down when I try to open my wordpress site.

Well I deactivated all of my plugins and was able to upload the photo to my website. After this I activated all of those plugin again. Is this what I have to do every time I want to upload an image?

Also, how do I mass delete comments from my website?

No, the point is to identify which plugin is causing the problem – and stop using it and/or see if there is a way to fix it or find another plugin that you can use instead.

    Right.

I would deactivate them all… and then activate them in groups of three of four…. going back each time to test the media uploaded.

When you have a group of three that are activated.. and the media uploader breaks… you know it’s own of those three causing the issue.

Now, deactivate one of those three… and check it again.

Basically you are trying to narrow down which plugin is causing the medial uploader to break.
