Can not update Profile Info for ref linking

I am trying to save the url for facebook and google+ in the admins profile in wp. However, it never saves. For admins who already have links present, it just shows the old link. For admins who have no links present, it just shows the blank box. Each time it confirms that it has saved.

It seems like the data is simply not saving. I removed all other plugins and still the issue is present.
There doesnt seem to be any way to get it to correctly set the author link within wordpress seo plugin due to this issue and I may need to do it externally.
