    Hi,

I've installed postie 1.4.18 through the automatic plugin installer and activated it successfully, but when i try to save my server config, i'm getting following errors:

Warning: Illegal string offset 'mail_password' in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\postie\postie-functions.php on line 2231

Warning: Illegal string offset 'mail_server' in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\postie\postie-functions.php on line 2231

Warning: Illegal string offset 'mail_server_port' in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\postie\postie-functions.php on line 2231

Warning: Illegal string offset 'mail_userid' in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\postie\postie-functions.php on line 2231

Warning: Illegal string offset 'iinput_protocol' in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\postie\postie-functions.php on line 2231

Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function 'postie_validate_settings' not found or invalid function name in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-includes\plugin.php on line 173

After this, the fields are just blank again.

    Does anyone else have this?

    Thx,

    Tim

yes, I can also confirm that the same problem exists .
it appears that only FRESH installs are suffering from this .
If you will downgrade to (or had installed) 1.4.3 - and then back to the current version - it will work fine - the settings will be saved . they just can not save in the new versions - the author should maybe have a look at it ..

The same thing happened to me. No server settings are being saved with the new version!
