Can not find wp-load.php!

Hello!
First of all nice plugin, it provides features that other similar plugins don’t have! 🙂
But we are having problem with it when trying to activate/deactivate/save/update/delete etc. We get the following error “Can not find wp-load.php!”.
This is because we run WordPress from a subdirectory by manipulating the URL with .htaccess. The reasons for this is many as we use Git, composer and WPackagist to run our sites.

For us this is not the case because – as i mentioned earlier – we run WordPress from a subdirectory.
Is it possible to use another way to determine WP root folder?
