Support » Theme: Sydney » Can not find my actual website pages in Cpanel

  • I am using the WordPress Sydney Child Theme 4.7.3. I am so frustrated I do not know what I am doing wrong. I go to my Cpanel and do not see any of my web pages there. I see the site origin widgets, plugins, and even images. I am using Hostgator and did a simple one click install for WordPress. My site looks great to me and I have had it crawled for errors. I am told it is good so why do I not see any of my actual web pages in the Cpanel??? Through Hostgator, My SQL was created and there is a database. I am so new to this and do not know what I am doing wrong. Will someone please point me in the right direction. I really need any help or advice you can offer me.

Could you please tell me what’s the actual issue you’re having with Sydney?

    Regards,
    Kharis

Yes Kharis, When I go into my Cpanel I cannot find any of my actual website pages. When I created my website using the Sydney theme I also used a child theme. I believe this may be a part of my issue. Hostgator had a one click install option so I used it. Through Hostgator, My SQL database was created as well. I never downloaded my site to my PC and never used FTP so I do not know if I need to do this because everything as far as I know has been configured and set up for me. I simply don’t understand where my actual website pages are or what I am failing to do on my end. I do not know if because I am using a parent-child theme if this is why I am having an issue. I am truly lost. I watched a 3-hour long tutorial building this site and I am so beside myself right now.
    Sincerely,
    Chrissy

    Hi Chrissy,

    > I simply don’t understand where my actual website pages are or what I am failing to do on my end.

You can see your pages on your site’s admin area (yoursite.com/wp-dmin), in there you’ll see a list of menus on the left side. Your pages reside in the “Pages” menu.

    I hope it helps.

    Regards,
    Kharis
