# Can not delete the plugin?

 * Unfortunately, a bug in older versions up to 5.8.6 prevents deleting the plugin.
   The symptom is, that you click “Delete”, but the plugin will not get deleted.
 * With version 5.8.7 this bug was fixed. Please update to this (or a newer) version,
   then you should be able to delete the plugin as usual. The version was published
   on 2026-07-08, 08:40 CEST and should be deployed in WordPress sites from 2026-
   07-09, 08:40 CEST when you enabled automatic updates.
