The prefix shouldn’t be a problem since the plugin uses the usual prefix WP function internally, it’s just easier to write in support. For now all people who reported this problem also said that after a while it went on working again. One instance of this issue was resolved because the database table was in ‘innodb_forced_recovery’ mode.
