  • Let me see if I have this correct. Your creating a site on your local host – i.e. A server on your pc – and it won’t send an email and he can’t login from a remote location.

    Is that right?

    If so did you set up your router to allow external access to your pc?
    Did you set up your server to allow it to send mail?
    Are you using wamp or xamp for the server on your pc?
    Have you tried to access the site when you are at a remote location?

    I am not much familiar with such thing, all the experiences I have is a local cloud storage I have set up for myself, but from my experiences, If your friend can already get to the log in screen of your wordpress site from your local host, I would assume you have done the port forwarding configuration, however base on the information you provided, there isn’t much we can help, maybe if you are willing to let someone have the log in to take a look will be easier to identify the issue.
