• When I started editing this site I was able to change the headings font sizes. I am not familiar with WP, and have only worked in SquareSpace and interal intranet servers. I feel like mine’s broken.
I may have uploaded a new version of WP, or one of the plugins. Now I cannot change the headers. Even if I change it to heading 1 or 2…down to 6, it’s still just “paragraph” font.
Can anyone explain this and how to fix it?

  • What theme are you using? Link to your site?

I am using a Nimbus theme.
    Thanks.

Have you asked the vendors of your theme about this? Commercial themes aren’t supported here – partly because we don’t have access to them.

If you’re not sure whether it’s a theme issue, try deactivating ALL plugins and switching to the twentytwelve theme to see if you have the same issue.

    What will that do?

    I feel like mine’s broken.

Deactivating plugins and switching to the default theme are the first steps in troubleshooting problems.

But in general, you need to modify the CSS code to change the styling of elements that are coded into the theme.

If you give a specific example of something you are trying to change and a link to your site, it may be easier to help with something like this.

Okay, how would I switch to the default theme?

Click on activate for the twentytwelve theme.

Ooh, I looked at that one. It’s not my favorite.
When I took over editing this page, it had a previous theme. I didn’t like it, so I did a search and found one I did.
I’m looking at the WP themes, but they look a lot like blogger pages, which ours is a website, not a blog page.
