    Hi,

Can someone from Jetpack please help?

I’ve tried to contact you on the Jetpack Support page but ‘contact’ just keeps looping around – and entering search terms just hangs in limbo….

I am trying to find out if/or how we can move js scripts to the footer per recommendations by Google Page Speed insights and recent discussions on improving site speeds for mobile users…

There are several js scripts from Jetpack, as well as the css files that pertain to those modules (and Google sees them as excessive css files in the header)….

AND/OR – could this be something you could do in a future release? It impacts everyone.

I’ve utilized a function script that moves all of js to the footer – but a few of them have to stay in the header –

I’d like to move those that are not required above the fold to optimize my site. The jetpack modules do not need to load above the fold.

    Please help – thank you.

Thanks for reaching out and I’m sorry about the problem with submitting via http://jetpack.me/contact-support/ I haven’t seen other reports of this, so if you have any additional information about what you saw, I’d like to clear that out.

An active project we have right now is to look at Jetpack—both in terms of external speed (e.g. what the site speed tester displays) and internal speed (what kind of server resources Jetpack uses)—and improve it across the board.

In other words, we’re working on this for a future release.

    Cheers!

    Hi Brandon,

Thanks so much for getting back to me.

It’s good news to hear it’s slated for a future release. Google is making page speed (and platforms) an important SEO issue, which has a domino effect on things like monetization :-/

I just got in and was checking my mail… so I will try to go back through the support method and write up a step through of what I experienced on contact-support/ (with screenshots if necessary)

    Thanks again.
