  • Is this just the start of the site? I ask because none of the links go to any pages, so I’m assuming that it is still under development.

I saw some articles for creating your own “theme”. The basic gist was to copy the WordPress code from an existing theme and to paste it into the appropriate location in an HTML document that represents a page from your web site.

Of course, there is much more to it than just that, but I did not complete this whole process. Once I actually get my installation of WordPress to work, I plan to move onto this as a next step.

I just figured I’d let you know that it is indeed possible to seemlessly integrate WordPress into your site.

Yes it is possible but you would need to create/edit a theme. See for more details of where to start. WordPress uses CSS to control the look of pages so you may need to learn about CSS or else talk to your site designers.

You sure can. Firstly, read the Codex stuff on theme development. Urban Giraffe also have a good dissection article on theme creation.

Make sure you validate your theme too, this is very important. I notice that your current website design is pretty badly mangled.

I have applied my own theme on see this as well.
