# Can I use Java Web Start on WordPress?

 * Currently I have an embedded Java Applet on my page, but because of this announcement:

   I need a different solution. The new recommended approach is to use Java Web 
   Start technology, but WordPress doesn’t allow me to upload a required .jnlp file
   due to security reasons. Is there a way to use a Java Web Start in a WordPress
   page?
