I have an alo easymail signup widget in the side bar of my site,
I would like to collect more information about these subscribers if possible, for example if peter signs up to my newsletter and at some point later on I happen to get hold of peters phone number, I’d like to be able to add this info to his profile on my site.

I wonder if there is any way of syncing my easymail subscribers with my wordpress subscribers as it’s simple to add extra user meta to wordpress subscribers. Any ideas???!

If you like to collect more info about your subscribers I suggest that you allow registration on your blog. So you can install a plugin that can manage extra user fields (there are a lot of plugins for this purpose). And EasyMail adds an option to receive newsletters in registration form and user profile.

Hi, thanks, I thought that was probably the case.
For anyone who’s interested here is what I’ve done…
I have used an amended version of a sign up form found on digwp.com to instead of the easymail signup widget

[Code moderated as per the Forum Rules. Please use the pastebin]

I then installed a pugin called “eliminate notify email” to stop the passwords going out.
