I’m trying to evaluate different platforms. I’d really like to try woocommerce in a private server and get the team’s feedback, then buy a license and take it live if everyone is on board.

I have set up a server with the most basic free options. Good start! I’d like to know that I’m not throwing money away on bad choices. I’m confident your products are great for many. I want to be certain they’re right for us, too, while also being fiscally conservative.

Is there, say, a trial license key?

On that note, if I wanted to keep the private server up for testing changes before rolling them out to the live distro, would I need to get two licenses of every extension?

    Thank you!

    WooCommerce is free. 🙂

It seems I wasn’t clear. There are extensions and plugins we’d like to evaluate, most of them by WooThemes.

No free trials however all our products have 30 days money back so I suppose you can view that as a trial.

Thank you! I didn’t see the 30 day guarantee on the website.

No you would not. You would just need to reactivate it on your live site. All done within your account once you get it set up.

The guarantee is right on the homepage. 🙂
