Can I specify a character limit?

    Hi — I’ve recently installed your plugin on a client’s website, and it’s working well for the most part. I am using it both for a full page of testimonials as well as in the sidebar. I needed more control than the widget allowed, so I’m using the short codes in the sidebar.

    A couple of her testimonials are extremely lengthy, and I would like to be able to limit how much text displays in the sidebar, while having the full content display on the testimonials page. Is there any way I could impose a character limit, or have it honor the “more” breaks?

    Hello,

    I saw this post about limiting the testimonial character length of a testimonial and that you would be creating a shortcode with a more button. I was wondering if this shortcode is developed as I do not see this in the list of shortcode and I could use it.

    The person in this chain prior to me asked if there was a way to limit the character length or excerpt length of the testimonial on the page with a read more option at the end of said character length. Your response was that you were working on a short code and it would be 3-4 days. I did not see the option for this shortcode so I was inquiring if this was ever created. I have some lengthy testimonials and only want the page to showcase a portion of the testimonial and then have a read more link to view the longer version.
