Can I remove the sidebar from posts?

  • Is there a way to remove the sidebar from single posts using this theme? I don’t really want to use another theme, and just removing the sidebar code from the page doesn’t work as the content still looks squashed to the left. 🙁

Yes, you would need to make a custom template and then remove the sidebar code and change the CSS for it accordingly. All of which should be done in a child theme so that your changes are not lost upon theme update.

Oh. Well, all of that is beyond me, I’m afraid. I’ve read through the links and it looks very complicated, and I wouldn’t know where to start editing the css.

Thanks for your reply, anyway. I just thought there may be an easy way to remove the sidebar.
