can i remove ads from this theme?

i’m considering using this theme (http://wordpress.topwpthemes.com/) for a new site.

i’m fairly new to wordpress. if i were to use this theme, would i be able to remove the google ads at the top and bottom?

and aside from the google ads issue, is there anything noticeable that i should be concerned about before diving into this theme?
