    Hi!

I am a newbie using WP 5.1 w/ the Twenty Nineteen theme.

In my Site, I have a Primary Menu w/ 5 Pages and 2 Custom Links.

The first Page, titled “Home Page” would display information about the Site but NO Posts. This Page would be updated frequently. Thus, the Page is semi-static.

The next four Pages would display Posts in reverse chronological order.

When I write a NEW Post, instead of being displayed on the “Home Page,” how can I select in which of the other four Pages the Post would be displayed?

    Thank you!

    Dr. T

  • Hello doctortr,

The ideal way to do this would be to using Plugin and Category.

Assign a category to the post when you create them in Admin and use a plugin called posts-from-category

It will help you to select a post from which category you wish to display on that specific page.

    Hope this helps,

    Thanks.

    Dear kartiks16,

    Thank you for your reply.

As a newbie, I want to keep things simple. So I am going to write all the Posts in one Page and use Categories instead.

Please read my query titled “Is there a hidden” page” in the “Everything else WP” Forum.
