Can I play mp3 without Space Upgrade?

    I want to be able to play my client’s mp3’s on their site. Do I need the Space Upgrade to do this? Or is there shortcode that will create a player using uploaded mp3’s?

    I also want to be able to place the player in a sidebar section.

    Sounds like you have a WordPress.COM site. Ask at http://en.support.wordpress.com

    I definitely have a ORG site, because I installed WP from within my server, hosted by Bluehost. I just checked at COM support.

    I have recently uploaded and installed WP Music Player. It acknowledges when an mp3 has been uploaded by showing the upload as complete with the title. But when I go to the Song List page, nothing shows.

    Sorry about that, usually people who ask about upgrades have .COM sites.

    You’ll have to experiment with various plugins till you find one which suits your needs.

    No worries.

    Still can’t get the WP Music Player to work. Is there a direct email contact to WP.org?

    No, there are only these volunteer manned forums.

    Plugins are written by volunteers in their spare time. It would be more useful to contact the plugin’s developer directly. There might be contact information in the plugin file’s header.
