This plugin is new to me. I presently use ACF for WooCommerce, which adds “Checkout” as a location option for one of my necessary custom fields (a dropdown menu placed below billing info). Unfortunately, the outdated plugin causes a conflict with my payment gateway. I need an alternative way to place an existing custom field on my checkout page.

    Hello,

Thanks for the feedback! Yes, I had some feedbacks that the plugin “ACF for WooCommerce” has some problems. I plan to add features for ACF Extended & WooCommerce in the future, but right now I’m kinda busy working on the plugin itself.

Unfortunately, there is no “easy” way to make ACF Forms work in Woocommerce, out-of-the-box. There was a topic few months ago, where I answered a question about an implementation of ACF Extended: Forms in WooCommerce, you can take a look here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/acf-form-integration-in-woocommerce-checkout/

Please note that ACF Extended: Forms is an improved version of ACF Forms, you should probably get used to it before trying to implement it in Woocommerce.

Also please be advised that I won’t provide additional support/development/debugging on that topic, because ACF Extended Forms (and ACF Forms) weren’t designed to be integrated in WooCommerce, and to be honest, I’m kinda overwhelmed by feature requests and support questions lately.

But hey, the good news is that I plan to add a fully compatible version in the future 🙂

You’ll probably find some resources if you search around with the terms: “ACF Forms in Woocommerce Checkout”.

    Hope it helps!

    Have a nice day.

    Regards.

I’m not using ACF Forms. Just Advanced Custom Fields PRO where my data is. Just need one of the form groups to show as a drop down menu on the checkout page. Any suggestion for help?

Do you have a recommendation for someone to hook my form into the checkout? Making it possible for me to disable ACF for WooCommerce, which is causing the plugin conflict and allowing my payment gateway to work using accept.js?

    Hello,

ACF Form is a feature of ACF Pro. See documentation https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/create-a-front-end-form/

This is the easiest way to display front-end forms with ACF fields (ACF is very complex and embed a lot of logic & custom behavior). As I explained earlier, ACF Form wasn’t designed to be integrated with WooCommerce. There are some resources on the web about that topic tho. Make some research with the terms “ACF Forms in Woocommerce Checkout”.

You can also search on the official ACF forum, or create a post there: https://support.advancedcustomfields.com/.

Unfortunately I haven’t got the time to dive into Woocommerce very deeply with ACF Extended yet, so I can’t help you further more.

    Hope it helps!

    Have a nice day.

    Regards.
