Support » Everything else WordPress » Can I place branding on the widget?

  • I have already hosted several plugins in the WordPress repository and in general I have no particular problems with this. But now I’m going to create a widget that will be displayed on the front end of site and I have a question: can I put branding on the widget? Is this allowed by the WordPress rules?

I have seen that many plugins have branding, but I don’t want to redo everything several times and decided to ask before starting.

Branding refers to the chain of my sites, I also install such a logo on the sites that I create for clients and for sale.

The widget will look like this: https://www.figma.com/file/gJx2kuOTOSVLVslrvSovQX/stado-shit?node-id=0%3A1

Moved to Everything else WordPress, this is not an Developing with WordPress topic.

This is not a question for the forums, Mainly because this is not an opinion matter, the plugin guidelines and things like this are not up to public opinion.

Please either email the plugins team (you have their email) or as on the WordPress Slack #pluginreview channel.

To use that channel you need a Slack account. You can obtain one via these instructions.
