Support » Plugin: WP Mail Logging by MailPoet » Can I migrate the Mail Log to a new site?

  • Resolved silverwolf99

I am migrating to a new site and would like to move the WP Mail Log so that the email history can be seen from the new site.

Is this possible? If so, what is the process?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

What’s your migration process? If you migrate the database tables then you are all set. Attachments might not be accessible after this.
If not here are all details about the stored plugin data:
    – The log is stored in the wpml_mails table
    – The options are stored in the wp_options table (option_names: wpml_settings, WPML_Plugin__installed, WPML_Plugin__version)

A common way for migration is to dump the whole database as sql, then import it to the new database. After this you must fix some WordPress options such as siteurl and some other plugins store url’s and paths. There is a tool Search Replace DB to do this. With it you can also fix the the attachment paths.
There are a lot of ways to do a migration.
