Can I insert a video (without the UTube site being seen) to a slider ? (15 posts)

I have linked my slider to the video, but I just want people to see the video and not my whole site. Can I get rid of the rest of the site being visible?

On the first slide, I would like to see just the video and not the rest of the YouTube site. Thanks

How did you embed the video? In an Iframe?

This post may help you, bit old but should still work:

Thanks Tareq. As you can tell I am not very familiar with programming, but I did follow that link and I pulled the embedding off of mine as

    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/vZWy0cfXRkU?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

    I tried adding the additional

    ?autoplay=1&controls=0

into it but it would not run. I then tried just inserting the embeddign code directly from YouTube into the slide and that would not run (even though the link worked fine, except for looking too "YouTuby). Any ideas. Much appreciated!

    Try this:

    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/vZWy0cfXRkU?autoplay=1&controls=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

    Tested on my dev site.

    Even better:

    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/vZWy0cfXRkU?autoplay=1&controls=0&showinfo=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Removes the top info bar too!

Thanks Tareq, but none are working. Could it be that I am using Zalive for my theme layout?

    Try this one:
    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/vZWy0cfXRkU?autoplay=1&controls=0&showinfo=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I see the problem. After I input your code, ZAlive converts it to

    http://iframewidth=560height=315src=//www.youtube.com/embed/vZWy0cfXRkU?autoplay=1&controls=0&showinfo=0frameborder=0allowfullscreen/iframe

Is there any way to correct that problem? (Thanks for helping out!)

And if I go and correct it, the program corrects it right back.

I think I got it! I took off from "http" to "src=" and it works fine!

Thanks so much, Tareq and batharoy!

(So, did I do the right thing??)

Tareq, do you think you could lend a hand with this problem as well?
