My host says they have disabled furl because it is a security liability and a common way for “script kiddies” to do whatever it is they want to do.
Firstly, is this true enough for me to be worried about my other hosting that does allow this? or is my host simply living up to its terrible reputation? (I do notice that very few people seem to be complaining about this issue, so most hosts must allow it.)
Secondly, can I use curl instead of furl for ical imports? Or will I have to move to a different host? Is there any other way to import my Google calendar into the all in one calendar?
The embedded Google calendar on my site is causing terrible problems with it’s responsive design, so I need to try to get this sorted asap.
Thanks in advance for you time,
