Can I hide variants when searching the product title?

    First of all, this is the best filter plugin I’ve found so far and I am enjoying setting it up! Among other features, I like the AJAX search for the product title.

    On the other hand, the product title is shown together with variant names in the search. My store consists of products with several variants and I’d like better if each product title was shown once only. There could be listed more actual products: Currently, I can see 2–3 products only although the search result shows 10 items.

    Is it possible to show product titles regardless of variants in the search? If not yet, could you add this option, please?

    Hi @melebius

    Could you please clarify what you mean by “each product title was shown once only” and also, please send us a link to your website to the page where you added the product filter, so we can check the product title search on your site.

    Hi,

    Unfortunately we do not have this option, but please contact us via email at info@themify.me so we can ask our developer to check your site why the product variations are appearing in the search-results for the Product Filter.

    With version 1.3.6, I can turn off “Include Variations in Search Suggestions” and it does what I was looking for. Thank you for adding this!
