Support » Theme: Customizr » Can I "hide" tags and categories from my Posts page?

  • This is really a question. I’m starting a blog using the Customizr theme. Obviously, I’m using the blog page for my posts. When I log into the site and go to the blog page (or click on a specific post) there’s a list of categories and tags after the post title. It really doesn’t look very professional having all that gibberish after the post title, and I’m wondering if there is a way to have that information (categories, tags) hidden on the page. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated!

  • You need this Snippet

RDELL – thanks for the quick response. I am a total newbie to this, and I have to confess that my eyes glazed over when I saw your response link – man! that looks complicated!. I know absolutely nothing about writing code – heck, I shake when I think about “cutting-and-pasting” code. I’ll read through it all and see if I can figure it out, but I’m sure I’m going to have some more questions.

I was you not too long ago, and here I am answering questions! Stick at it and things suddenly drop into place.

    We’re here to help.

So – here’s my newest Customizr questions:
    1. Is it possible to add a “fader” effect to the slider in Customizr? If not, does anyone know of a theme that is similar to Customizr, but that has a fader type of header – where one image fades into another image? 2. How do I go about centering you-tube videos in my posts?

    Any help would be great.

For next time, on the WordPress forums, new question = new post (which you can do here).

    1. You need this snippet for the fading.
    2. The way you centre anything.
