• I paid for the pro version and it never worked. Smartcat has not responded once to my support emails, and I am still unable to use the theme. Once installed it works fine, but once you begin to make changes like adding pictures to the jumbotron, logo, changing color of font, etc., it stops all of the widgets and also stops customizing. If I were to change something through the customize menu, it will not take effect at all. DO NOT BUY THE PRO VERSION! Use your money on a better theme. I purchased it because I liked the free version, what a mistake. A theme that doesn’t work, and developers that do not give you support.

    Regarding your warning about us not giving support, we definitely do, all requests are answered within 24 hours at the latest. Sometimes users claim they didn’t hear back and more so than often it’s because the user entered a wrong email address, or the response went to the user’s junkmail. Requests for support have to come through here: https://smartcatdesign.net/get-support/

    Feel free to create a new ticket, and as mentioned, we will definitely help you find the answers you need.

    I sent support requests straight from your website, so either you have the wrong email setup on your form or you just aren’t replying. The issue has not been fixed. I stopped using the theme because I just can’t use it. It doesn’t work for me even on a fresh install of wordpress and theme. I can install a fresh install on a subdomain so you can take a look. I just want it resolved since I paid for it. Thanks

    I have looked up your email and I see multiple requests from you, and they have been responded to. In every case, the support agents have responded by saying we need more details/screenshots regarding the error and that the site is behind a construction mode page which we can’t see past.

    Updating this thread:

    Spoke with @mcoolu and confirmed that the reason for the error was because the user had turned off the Gallery feature which is required for the Jumbotron to work.

    As for the widgets not working, the user had simply not added widgets yet. User confirmed that the site is working.

    Issue resolved. Hoping @mcoolu can update the star rating, as this is a user-error, not an issue with the theme.
