Is it okay to edit the css for the plugin, or will that get overwritten? Should I copy to a child theme or is that applicable? Or is it best to just do it in custom css area?

  • Hi @aaron843,

    Hope you’re doing well ๐Ÿ™‚

Changing plugin or theme core files should be avoided because each update will overwrite your changes.

You have couple of ways you can add custom CSS, child theme, Additional CSS field in WP Customizer or install Custom CSS plugin for your additional code, there’s large variety of them on wordpress.org ๐Ÿ™‚
