Can I edit a PDF file?

    Anant,

    I just installed the WP-Filemanager 1.4.0 version, I turn on all options in the configuration to allow me to edit, rename, edit….
    This site was created by another person.
    I need to edit a PDF file to change the phone number of a page, however, when I click the existing PDF file, it did not show any content, it did provided two menu buttons:

    Filename: xxxxxx.pdf
    Restore original Save & exit

    I click “Restore original”, nothing display…..
    Q: Can I edit the xxxx.pdf file?

    I did try to open other type of files, test.txt, test.html… and I was able to open them successfully.

    No we do not have capabilities to edit non ascii files.

    at this point the edit functionality allows for text editing and that’s it.
