Can I download installed plugin?

    Hey guys, a developer had directly installed a plugin for me because his download link did not work, now I would like to save a copy of that plugin on my desktop, is this possible in any way please?

    you can go Dashboard >> Plugins >> View details link for the plugin

    usually on the right of the information page there is a link to plugin homepage and hopefully an option to download

    else you can use FTP and the plugin is usually on the following path wp-content/plugins
    you can download it from there

    Hi @mikehende,

    Yes off-course you can download the plugin if you have access to your hosting control panel or FTP (File transfer protocol).

    Just login to your FTP or Hosting Control Panel and go to file manager and point to following directory

    wp-content/plugins/YOUR-PLUGIN

    And download your plugins to your local computer.
