• I set up my wife’s web hosting (with a third party provider, so I don’t have shell access) to use SSL on the assumption that we’d some day be selling her recordings; and so I also installed WordPress to use HTTPS. Naively I thought I could self-certify; but now see no way to do so cost-free.

The problem is that visitors are now deterred from visiting her site by the ominous ‘non-matching certificate’ warnings.

So I’d now like to disable SSL with WordPress and revert to HTTP. My question is: Is there anyway to revert to HTTP without having to go through the long process of uninstalling and reinstalling WordPress?

    The site is at:

linked to the WordPress installation at:

    Thanks in anticipation of help.
