Hi, what’s the purpose of wf-licensing.log file? Because the file size is huge and keep growing up.

Can I delete it? Or does plugin have any option to clear the log that inside the file?

    Hi,
You can definitely delete it. But you shouldn’t have it at all 🙁 It should only be created when explicitly configured to log events. I’ll see ASAP what’s going on and push and update when we find the bug 👍

    Hi,

But after deleted it, it will regenerate it again and the file size will keep growing up when we visit the site, no matter the Maintenance Mode is turn on/off.

    Please check it ASAP.

    Thank you.

As a temporary solution, until an update is pushed you can edit minimal-coming-soon-maintenance-mode/trunk/framework/admin/license.php on line #21 and set debug to false

    Noted. Thank you 🙂

Hey, stubled upon this after googleing “wf-license.log” as mine was >600mb!

    Also set => false,

Just FYI that @mkmeow is not alone! 😉

    Cheers

@flo269 I screwed that up 🙁 Would be nice to blame it on somebody else but it was me.
Anyhow, I fixed the latest version so if you redownload it’ll be set to false.

We didn’t push a new version yet because we want to auto-delete that file for those who were affected by the bug, so it’s taking a bit longer.

All good 🙂 Thanks for the prompt response!

This is still an issue for me too I’m afraid. This file grew to 2gb of data on a high traffic site! We’ve upgraded the plugin to the latest version and it didn’t delete the file. Even deleting it on the server meant that the system created another new file which keeps being updated. Please can you provide a complete fix for this bug?

The latest version has this fixed. We haven’t had any other reports of it. If the file is not auto-deleted, then delete it but with the latest version it really should be created any more.

Hi, this is still an issue for me as well. I’ve updated to the latest version and deleted the log file, which was almost 7gigs. The log file immediately began growing again. I have disabled the plugin for now. This was happening on 2 of my sites with this plugin.
