  • Should be OK – HOWEVER in case of trouble a standard trouble shooting step is to switch back to the default Theme to eliminate any Theme related problems, also when doing an automatic update it is recommended to switch to the Default Theme and disable the Plug-in’s.

The server space for a Theme is so minor as to be a non-issue.

I am curious why you wanted to delete the Default Theme?

I’m just shoring up the security on my website and know that having lots of unactivated themes sitting on my server can be a security issue. So Ive deleted all of them except my active theme and default theme, and wondered if it was okay to delete that also.
