Can I change the names of Sitemaps?

    Hello SEOPress Support Team,
    Recently I started using your plugin on my main website: “https://www.programmingmadesimple.com/”. But one of the Sitemaps automatically created is named “page-sitemap1.xml” and I was thinking is there any way for that to be renamed and the “1” in the name to be removed.

    Hi,
    no you can’t do that.
    This url rewrite rule is absolutely necessary for the plugin.
    Plus, it does not change anything in terms of SEO.

    I know that it doesn’t affect SEO but I just wanted to change it for the URL itself to look nicer.
