Can files from two different websites be stored at same Dropbox account

    I’m developing a new website for a client, so they will now have two active websites. I am wondering if it is OK to setup UpdraftPlus on this new site, and store backups to the same Dropbox account?

    Hi,

    Yes, more than one site can be connected to the same Dropbox account.

    However, please note that a site will detect all backups in the backup folder if the ‘Rescan remote storage’ tool is used, regardless of the site the backup was created on.

    I’ve never tried to restore a website, and am unfamiliar with the process. In this case I’m developing a new website for a client which when done will be moved to a new server account with a different domain name.

    I’m assuming it’s going to search for the correct files at Dropbox. When using “rescan remote storage”, will I be able to differentiate between the two sets of files?
