Can external files also be downloaded?

    Hi Maxime. On this page I have a huge bunch of external files (sitting on the server but not inside the Media Library). When entering each Track Listing, I selected the option to Download, giving a Download link as well as set the “Open in New Window?” to No.

    Unfortunately, the Download button, still takes users to the file in a new tab, and they have to again right click to download.

    I tried importing one file to see if that works, but still no go. What am I doing wrong?

    Hi,

    Make sure that your download link is the same as your public website.

    Currently, your download link has no https but your website is https.

    Hello,

    Have now forced https:// on all files and links but still have the same problem. The version of Sonaar is already 2.1. And all files have been set to “No” for opening in new tab. Anything else you can suggest please?
