Can custom prefix be used (not _wp)? | WordPress.org

I have an existing site that uses a custom database prefix. I installed NGG but it won’t let me create a gallery or upload any pics. I’ve read elsewhere that NGG only plays nice with the _wp database prefix. Can this be changed?

@otakushark – I have not read this issue before (and I admit to not testing it either). Please feel free to submit a Bug Report (http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/ … please reference this topic) with your site’s specifics so we can have a closer look at this.
