Can create Site with custom Fields and Tamplate but cant edit

    Hi

    I implemented a template for a page with tabs for the content. It works for creating a new Site but as soon as i want to edit the page the content does not show up.

    Here is the New-Site with the Taped Template chosen:

    This is an example of an existing page and how it looks like when it is saved:

    This is how it looks like if i want to edit the Page. The content block on the left is completely missing:

    Any ideas how this could happen? I’d really appreciate any suggestions to solve this.

    I assume you wanted to provide screenshots. Unfortunately, they’re not visible. How to add screenshots to the forum is described here: https://wordpress.org/support/forum-user-guide/block-editor/#adding-screenshots

    A link to your page would also be helpful to reproduce the problem.

    Thanks for your reply. That is the way i added the Screenshots and they did load fine. But i already removed them from source.

    I actually found the cause and in the end it is rather simple…

    I did a little more digging and found that the fields are actually in the DOM but not showing because of hide-if-js. Then i did a little more digging and hide-if-js is part of wp display options. Headed to the top of the edit page and the “tabbed stuff” was not ticked… *facepalm*
