• Hi,

We are using contact form 7 for a registration form on our website, http://www.nationalregistry4wrestling.com/registration. We are going to be advertising this site on ESPN and anticipate a large number of registrations after the ad has aired. Can contact form 7 handle potentially thousands of people registering simultaneously?

We are concerned because about a month ago, our site was mentioned on the Big Ten Network and there was some difficulty with everyone being able to register, and the BTN has a smaller audience than ESPN so we hope that we can accommodate the potential influx of registrants.

    Thanks!

  • I think this is more a question of what your server can handle rather than what the plugin can handle. WordPress does not impose any traffic limit and neither does this plugin to the best of my knowledge but your server might struggle. The best thing you can do is to discuss this with your hosts so that they can advise your properly.

Thanks for the quick reply! It’s hosted with Bluehost, so I will call them now to ask.

dhobelka, what happened? Did you end up using Contact Form 7 for the submissions and did it hold up with a lot of simultaneous submissions? About to embark on the same journey and want to use Contact Form 7 on a dedicated host. I know the host won’t be an issue, but want to make sure Contact Form 7 won’t be an issue either.
