Support » Plugin: Toolset Types - Custom Post Types, Custom Fields and Taxonomies » [Plugin: Types] Can child post type be assigned to multiple parent post types?

  • I am trying this plugin out for a project I am working on. What I am trying to achieve is allow a child post type to be assigned to multiple parent post types.

    For example:

    1. I have an Event post type that contains information about the event. Date, time, location.

    2. I have a Venue post type that contains information about a particular venue. Address, hours of operations, phone number. This post type is a child of Events.

An Event, may take place at a Venue multiple times. So it would be make sense that a user can select an old Venue they have previously created.

Is this functionality supported by Types already? Or would this have to be custom?

    Thanks
