    Can anyone help here? I think the admin is too busy to reply all issues.

    I was told to add below code to solve the problem that add on items are not show up at submenu of “Points”. Can anyone tell which file I should put below code on in order to show up the submenu of “Points” at admin?

    add_action(‘admin_head’, ‘mycred_custom_display’);

    function mycred_custom_display() {
    global $mycred_types;?>
    <style type=”text/css”>
    <?php foreach ( $mycred_types as $type => $label ) { if ( $type == ‘mycred_default’ ) $name = ”; else $name = ‘_’ . $type; ?>
    #adminmenu .toplevel_page_mycred<?php echo $name;?> .wp-submenu li:not(:first-child){display:block !important;}
    #adminmenu .toplevel_page_mycred<?php echo $name;?> .wp-submenu li:not(:first-child) a{display:block !important;}
    <?php } ?>
    </style>
    <?php
    }

    Hi @wpbetsy,

    This function should be placed in your theme’s functions.php or your child theme’s functions.php in order to get the submenus visible for badges ranks and logs.

    Hope this information helps you out. Also myCred team is always working hard to help each and every of it’s user. Your question’s answer was already answered in the support ticket you opened at myCred that is why we didn’t responded here. Maybe you should continue on the support ticket as creating support threads here again and again for the same topic will result in spam.

    Thanks!

    I am using a child theme but all the codes are in the theme’s functions.php instead of child theme’s functions.php. So, should I put this code in child theme’s functions.php or the main theme’s functions.php.

    I don’t understand why you can’t answer users’ questions here as wordpress is an open source which everyone can use and share their experiences. Why not make everything at forum so everyone who encounters problem can read? You said it’s only my site’s problem, no one has the same issue as me. Who knows? Maybe I’m the first one who encounter this problem but you can’t say I am the only one who had this problem. Others may have the same problem in future.

    Hi @wpbetsy,

    There is no other user in the forums who has this issue you can check the past issue also users check all the support threads too so if anyone would have had your exact same issue then he/she would have posted on the same forum. This is a community platform but opening new threads for same issue is not how things work. All your threads relate to the same issue and yet we still aren’t able to resolve your issue because you are unwilling to give any input. We also told you the steps to debug but still you are not willing to do it. This is the common practice which each plugin dev will do if the issue doesn’t persists on his/her side they will ask the user to debug the issue by providing them the steps. We also told you how to inspect element and check through a video but still you didn’t provided the screen recording or screen cast so at least we can have an understanding if it’s a css issue or the whole html is missing.

    Hope you would understand this and respond on the ticket which you have created at myCred.me try to be cooperative as the technical team is working hard to resolve your issue your involvement and cooperation would be highly appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Yes, I am replying you again because you still haven’t answered my question above.

    Hi @wpbetsy,

    Yes you will need to place in the child functions.php and if still this doesn’t resolves your issue then come on support ticket we are helping you there but still you are opening support threads for same issue again and again.

    Thanks!

    the child theme’s functions.php only contains below content.The theme template has nothing to do with wordpress admin panel. Why should the code be added there?

    <?php
    /**
    * Online Shop functions and definitions.
    *
    * @link https://developer.wordpress.org/themes/basics/theme-functions/
    *
    * @package Acme Themes
    * @subpackage Online Shop
    */

    /**
    * require int.
    */
    require_once trailingslashit( get_template_directory() ).’acmethemes/init.php’;

    Hi @wpbetsy,

    It is required for any code execution to be done through theme’s functions.php file in order to get the code executed. Kindly proceed with the changes the devs have asked you to do.

    Thanks!

    That’s useless.

    Hi @wpbetsy,

    If the code is not working for you then help the devs provide them with the steps they told you to check the inspect element and give them a screencast of the code. We can’t just assume the issue as this is not a known issue also we don’t have the same setup as you have. You can tell us the plugin list you are using and we might be able to help you out by setting up the same plugins on a test environment. There is no other way for this issue to be debugged you are unwilling to cooperate with anything.

    Hi all,

    You can press f12 on chrome and a window will open from the bottom of your browser then click on the mouse click sign and then go to the menu where points is and then check or search for ranks badges inside the li ul in the code.

    Hope you would understand this.

    Thanks!
