    Hi,
I really like this plugin. But I’m having some trouble customizing the woocommerce’s emails.
In the use of placeholder {ORDER_PRODUCTS} to show items ordered in the mail, I only get very sketchy information of the products. for getting e.g. product images, variables etc data, I can only get them by modifying your plugin.

Could you add some filters for the placeholders for easy customization?

    Much appreciated. Thanks.

  • Agree, all you need to offer is an apply_filters so that we can add our own custom data or modify existing ones. I’d be happy to contribute the code if you tell me how?

    Hello @ttimbul and @laitnesse2020,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Our technicians confirm that there are no current plans to add other variables to the {ORDER_PRODUCTS} tag.

If you create the email templates directly on Sendinblue, you have more freedom in terms of tags. For example, there is a dedicated {{ item.image }} tag, as well as variables for order data.

Please take a look at the following article: https://help.sendinblue.com/hc/en-us/articles/360006850600.

I hope this response helps to clarify, please reach out with further questions.

    Thanks,
    Alice

According to this article your wordpress plugin doesn’t even create the track events needed: https://help.sendinblue.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021501460

    Is that outdated?

There are other issues, such as not supporting {customer_note}. The most flexible approach (and easiest for your devs) would be to add a hook and make the plugin extensible.
