 * Still testing Zen and love it so far! Great for clients who need the basics and
   other analytics plugins are overwhelming.
 * On your traffic tab, it would be great if the Campaigns can show the URL its
related to. Since people who aren’t keeping track of their campaign UTM URLs
in a spreadsheet may not remember which page in the WP site that campaign was
   pointing to.
 * Thanks!

 * Thanks for the suggestion! I’ve already implemented this change and I’m planning
to push the update tomorrow. I’ll let you know once the new version is available.

 * Awesome! I’m testing it on this gorg minimalist site I did and your vibe is perfect
for this site and this client: [https://mmonroedesign.com/](https://mmonroedesign.com/)
 * Your plugin really is amazing for people who don’t want to deal with the complexity
and bloat of all the other analytics plugins
 * To add to the campaign tracking (which is huge these days with newsletters, social,
ads, etc), you might consider adding a tab where people can generate the UTM
   links.
 * One thing none of the other plugins get right is simply saving all the URLs in
a table/list for people to reference again! I don’t know why they don’t realize
people want to both create and track these in the same place! Only the super
complicated analytics plugins do this—or you have to use two plugins, one to
create and one to track. There’s room for someone to nail this in a minimalist/
   simple way
 * Take a look at this plugin which autofills the URL, which saves a step and is
   great UX. [https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-utm-builder/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-utm-builder/)
 * The way Tilda’s UTM builder lays out required and optional is good (and tabs
thru them in the correct order): [https://tilda.cc/utm/](https://tilda.cc/utm/)

 * The update is now ready and I’ve just released version 1.2.7. It should become
available in the WordPress plugin directory within the next 6 hours.
 * The Campaigns tab now shows the landing page URL next to each campaign name,
   as requested.
 * As for the UTM builder idea — I can definitely see the value in having UTM creation
and campaign tracking in the same place. At the same time, I’m trying to keep
the plugin focused on being a simple, lightweight analytics solution rather than
turning it into an all-in-one marketing tool.
 * It’s also a small, independent project that I develop on my own, and I didn’t
originally plan to spend a lot of time adding new features beyond improving and
fixing the existing functionality. A full UTM builder with saved URLs and all
the related UX would probably be outside the scope I originally had in mind for
   the free plugin.
 * I’ll definitely keep the idea in mind, though. Thanks for the detailed feedback!
 * If you’re happy with how the plugin is working for you, I’d also really appreciate
it if you could [leave a review on WordPress.org](https://wordpress.org/plugins/zenmarkup-privacy-analytics/#reviews).
It really helps the plugin grow and helps other users discover it.

 * Hey! Totally understand. You’re so quick I assumed you were doing this project
   with Claude 🙂
 * Since you had the feature to track the UTMs I also figured marketing was a priority
of your original build or you wouldn’t have teased out those results
 * Probably the hardest part of adding this feature would be having it save them
to the database (if your plugin doesn’t already have any things that save to
the DB). But just a form to create the URLs wouldn’t be as hard.
 * When I get back to my Claude code side quest, I will fork it and play around
to see if it’s as easy as I say!

 * Hey!
 * Testing latest version and can confirm I am seeing the relative link of the slug(
in my test the about page so it shows as “/about/” after the campaign name.
 * When I described this idea, my initial thought was that it would display the
full UTM link here. This would be a way to collect these links in one place without
needing to provide any other interface.
 * If it’s going to show only the relative link from the site, the source and medium
tabs may as well show this too, no?

 * I think the current implementation makes more sense for the analytics dashboard.
The Campaigns tab is there to show which campaigns are bringing traffic and which
landing page they point to, so `summer_sale (/pricing)` gives that context without
   adding unnecessary information.
 * A full UTM URL would be useful for a separate UTM builder or URL manager, where
the goal is to create and save links for future use. That’s a different use case
from analytics, and I’d prefer to keep the plugin focused and lightweight.
 * Also, full URLs can get quite long, so the interface would have to truncate them
anyway. In this context, that would add more visual clutter than useful information.
 * So I’d keep the Campaigns view as it is for now.
