Hi Ben, I have done some testing, and apperantly Block, Suspend, Report, in my set up, is causing some problems by blocking access to the camara for taking photos for profile image and cover image.

The test is done with only BuddyPress and Block, Suspend, Report plugins active.

Would you look into this, and see if you can reproduce this issue?

    Regards
    Carsten

    Hey @carsten-lund,

    Happy New Year!

This may not surprise you, but I can’t reproduce. Can you provide the following:

    What theme?
    What device?
    What browser?
What versions of BP, BSR and theme.
    What WordPress version?

I’ll try and get my set up as close to yours as I can.

There is nothing that could interfere with cameras in the plugin, so it may be something interfering with something else that controls cam access. If that makes sense.

    Ben R

Hi Ben, I’m happy to say, that the issue has gone!, as you can see from the videograb I sent you, the camera was not activated. I tested it on an iPad, and back to the iPhone again, and the issue has gone. I have done hours of testing to role out plugins, and ended up with Block, Suspend, Report alone with BuddyPress. Strange, but the important thing is that it has gone for now.

Sorry for the false alarm, I shall return if the issue comes back.

    Regards
    Carsten

The issue is back, must be periodic, let’s hope its not related to Block, Suspend, Report.

    Cheers
    Carsten

Certainly sounds unrelated. Good to hear from you though.

    Best,
