 * 1. I installed WP by Quickinstall
    2. I set my install to be sub dir /events
   3. I had issues with my site having a site not found in the middle of my home
page. 4. I figured it might be because I installed in the /subdir events 5. I
went back to my account and thinking I will just make a fresh install in the
home directory. To get a fresh start I basically deleted the domain from my WHM
then remade it and started over with no files. 6. This time I didnt put anything
in the /subdir and it did load the files in the home directory. 7. There is no
longer a /events folder period as it was purged when I did the delete account.
   8. My new install dont show my website on the [http://www.elaboratemoments.com](http://www.elaboratemoments.com)
but it does show it on [http://www.elaboratemoments.com/events](http://www.elaboratemoments.com/events)—
now whats so strange I do not have that folder. So I made one just to see what
would happen. When I made that folder the whole site disappeared from either
place. I deleted the folder and it came back but still only in the [http://www.elaboratemoments.com/events](http://www.elaboratemoments.com/events).
I really need it to be on [http://www.elaboratemoments.com](http://www.elaboratemoments.com).
 * I only play with website stuff when I want something personally. I have a degree
in networking and unix that I got in 2001 that I never used as I got a job into
another field. But like anything when you dont use it you lose it. I can open
a file and understand the code somewhat but its been so long I am lost. So please
answer my question as if I don’t know much and need my hand held 🙂
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fcalling-to-sub-directory%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)
